Time is never constant, it flies by when we want it to slow down, moves at a snails pace when we want it to quicken.

..such a silly thing is time

Disclaimer: The things I mention in the following blog entry do not apply to any of my friends =p.

I know it’s probably not the kindest of things to do, that is, judging people without even knowing them, but I can’t help it sometimes. In a way it’s almost quite fun, a little game I play with myself sometimes to see just how far my preconceptions of people differ.. or don’t differ so much from the truth.

Tadaa

Sorry I would have taken more (better) pictures but I was being lazy so this will have to suffice =)

I don’t feel quite as bad as I should, but I think I’ve learnt that my body wasn’t made to handle alcohol over repeated days.. =p

The different sorts of drunks…..

Haha think of me what you will =p! But I recently saw the Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook at my local church at a massive discount and just thought to myself “o my days, I must have that…” I have a huuuge sweet tooth and so I thought I’d buy this book full of recipes for lots of bakery goodness. With a quote from Gwyneth Paltrow herself recommending the book I just could not resist… (haha I’m such a looser)

brilliant.. =p

For those of you who do not know, I go to a badminton club at a church near where I live every Wednesday evening, and have been doing so for the last 3 years or so. I play with some older folk and so the games are always casual and mainly just for a bit of a laugh.

Lately I have begun to realise just how different the general conversations and small talk between age groups are. In between games when we usually sit down and I listen to the other members chatting about their lives in general; instead of talking about the last episode of skins or glee (bla bla) I find myself catching up on the latest adventures of Michael Portillo in his “Great British Railway Journeys” series, which although I may actually find quite interesting, I had previously never heard or known of this programme until now.. whereas they all had, of course. Although I admit this is not a very surprising point to make, I think it just comes down to the fact that I spend almost all of my time with people my own age and so have become accustomed to the typical conversational topics of people my age, namely getting drunk, exams and the same sort of television and music that seems so unusual to this older generation that I play badminton with each week.

More badminton club musings to follow… =p

My exams are finally finished, much to my relief and joy. This also means that now my time can be dedicated to the blog once again ^^
